Soqutra

Soqutra, famous for its unique biodiversity, is now a reality as a new tourist destination.

Its beauty, ancient history and its remoteness, makes the island a destination suitable for anyone that wants to experience to one of the last unspoiled spots in the world.

 

We offer organized trips on the island covering all the recreational activities avalble:

Accommodation is provided in a little funduk that we run, where you can find hospitality and Yemeni and international cusine.

 

Soqutrais reacheable twice a week by Yemenia flight:

Friday from Sana’a and Monday from Aden.

Upon request diving courses can be organized.

Week end pakage:

- Fri: Departure from Sana’a, arrival at Hodido, meet and transfer to the Hotel, afternoon visit to Delicia bay, O/N Hadibo

- Sat: Early morning departure to Nugget, visiting the wadys, caves and the southern beach, O/N Hadibo

- Sun: excursion to Dixxon, visit to the Dragon Blood tree’s O/N Hadibo.

- Mon: morning trekking to the water falls, transfer to Apt for departure.

 

8 days, 7 nights pakage:

- Fri: Departure from Sana’a, arrival in Hadibo, meet and transfer to the Hotel, afternoon visit to Delicia bay, O/N Hadibo

- Sat: Early morning departure to Nugget, visiting the wadys, caves and the southern beachs, O/N camping

- Sun: visit of Nugget region, return to Hadibo, visit of cape Dy Hammery on the way, O/N Hadibo

- Mon: excursion to Gualancia, O/N camping

- Tue: boat excursion to Shoab Bay, beach activities and return to Hadibo for overnight

- Wen: excursion to Momi, visit to the Dragon Blood tree’s area, continue until Ras Ersel, O/N camping

- Thu: beach activities or trekking in the morning, afternoon return to Hadibo for overnight

- Fri: morning trekking to the water falls, transfer to Apt for departure.

 

DIVING PAKAGES

Week end:

- Sat: Early morning departure to Ras Dy Hammery for introductory dive in the bay, 9/15 Metres, brain corral formations, pelagig fishes, turtles, lobsters and sting rays. In the afternoon deep dive on the cape, 25/40 metres, giant groopers, blak tip sharks, huge blak and white corral formations O/N Hdibo

- Sun: morning dive in Haulaf bay, 12/20 metres, corral formations, lobsters, dolphins tuna fishes. Afternoon free

- Mon: morning trekking to the water falls, transfer to Apt for departure.

- Mon: drive to Gualancia, boat excursion to shoab Bay, dive on a beautifull ship wrak from 18 to 24 meters, 60 merters cargo, 14 Years old wich has grow corral and hosts an enourmous quantity of fishes afternoon snorkle in the bay with dolphin: O/N camping

- Tue: morning dive in Ras Badha, drop dive following the mountian side, very big passing fishes, lobsters, groopers and manta rays. Afternoon drive bak to Hadibo.

- Wen: excursion to Ras Ersel, Afternoon dive in the bay. O/N camping

- Thu: dive on a different wrack, fishermen boat, quite strong currents 15/25 metres. Afternoon return to Hadibo for overnight

- Fri: morning trekking to the water falls, transfer to Apt for departure

 

 

Pakages and dive sites can be changed according to the weather conditions and experience of divers.
