DAY 1:
Arrival at Sana’a, then we will visit Old Sana’a & the market. You will
walk through the textile market, jambia market, spice and herbs market,
silver and gold market and cooper market with professional explanation
by our tour guide.
Sana’a lies in the mid of the western mountainous chain which stretches
from the far north of Yemen to the south. It is surrounded by a number
of Governates: Sa’da to the north and Dhamar to the south, Jouf and
Marib to the east and Hudaidah to the west. On the northwestern side are
the two Governates of Hajja and Mahweet. |

DAY 2:
Drive from Sana’a to Marib, visiting the
ruins of the two palaces of Queen Saba (( By Arabic Tradition Bilqis)),
the old city of
Marib.
Marib is located
172km east of Sana’a. Mountains beautiful valleys, plains and desert are
all nearby. It is the most famous ancient city in Yemen.Marib was
perhaps a capital of biblical region called Saba who are considered to
be foundation of Yemen Arab history. There are many inscriptions
written in Himyaritic language which was derived from Phoenician
writing.Old city of
Marib was an important meeting point of caravans coming from Qana port

DAY 3:
Drive from Marib to Seiyun through the old
desert road and on our way we will stop to visit the historic Town of
Shibam. Night at Seiyun.
Shibam the muddy
tower dating back 500 years & they are by no doubt the very first
skyscrapers of the world. The Shbam’s 500 tower houses are 30 -40 m
high, the walls of ground floors vary in thickness between 1 and 2
meters. The high floors are usually painted by thick layers of white
alabaster. Shibam is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage list.

DAY 4:
After breakfast, we will visit Tarim & Al-
Ahqaf library.
Tarim was a significant center of
Islamic studies offering allegedly some 365 mosques. The minaret of
the Al Midhar mosque is 64 meters high and built of mud bricks. |

DAY 5:
We will visit Wadi Dau’an valley, Al
Hajjrein. In the evening, a tour in Mukalla city.
Wadi
Dau’an is famous for its quality Honey.

DAY 6:
Sightseeing in Seiyun city.
The major city
in Hadramount, 320km. Away from Mukalla and the administrative capital
of the wadi. It has flourished as the capital of the wad since the 15th
century AD. This city is mentioned in the old Musnad inscription. Seiyun
is an attractive city with houses built of straw reinforced clay bricks
mostly consisting of 3-4 floors. It is surrounded by mountains and palm

DAY 7:
After early breakfast if possible we will go to Mukalla international
airport, we will arrive at Socotra & transfer to the Hotel, we will make
a trip to
Ayheft
Canyon
National park. After that
we will go to Diylesha beach for Swimming . Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Hadibo.
It is rich of
many endemic plants. 90 species have been identified in the area out of
which seven are limited to Homhil. There are 4 natural trails designed
for trekking with the best views of plants, animals and nature. Homhil
is a home for many Dragon Blook Trees, which is used and traded by the
people of Socotra. Frankincense trees are also prevalent here and
deserve a close look.

DAY 8:
After breakfast we will
make our way to Dixsam plateau & Shebahn viewpoint. We will then make
our way down to a wadi in the Canyon for lunch and an easy going walk
and maybe also to swim in the freshwater pools in the wadi. Dinner &
Overnight at the hotel in Hadibo.
The area is
renowned for the native Dragon blood tree the reason of endemic & rare
Socotra pumping (estimated at thousand bairs ).

DAY 9:
after
breakfast we will transfer to Socotra airport, we will arrive to Sana’a
then have lunch at a famous restaurant then we will visit old Sana’a &
it’s surrounding. |

DAY 10:
After
breakfast we will visit Wadi Dahr & excursion of Famous Dar Al Hajar
(The
Rock
Palace). After Wadi Dahr
traveling to the old mountain village Kawkaban walk around the village.
Lunch in Shibam, Hameda hotel it’s famous for its delicious Yemeni
meals, we’ll go to Thula. Dinner & Overnight at the Sana’a.
Visiting Wadi
Dahr the distance approx. 14km, from top of the Wadi you can view the
whole area. & the famous Dar Al Hajar ((The Rock Palace )).

DAY 11:
Drive from Sana’a to Manacha, we will
visit ancient villages Al Hajara & Al Hutaib At the evening a
performance of local dancers & musicians. Night at Mancha./font>
Al Hajara & Hutaib
were a pilgrimage place of Ismailites. ( sect of the Shi’ites that was
active as a religion-political movement in the 9th -13th century).
Al Hajjara
(11th century) is one of the most impressive mountain villages in Yemen
with typical high stone houses and former Jewish ghetto.

DAY 12:
After Breakfast we will visit Manach &
Bura preserved natural park, Trek in the park at the evening we’ll
return to Sana’a.
This natural
park covers the south- western slopes of Mountain Bura’a and represents
an exceptional example of natural, dense and resistance jungle. Apart
from acacia, myrrh and desert rose trees, the jungle also contain a
stunning fauna of migratory birds and butterflies, hyenas and large
troops of baboon monkeys.

Relax & get ready to
travel.
